A busy weekend for Highland Storm teams, the Highland Storm Pepper Mill Steak and Pasta House Dollos Foodland Bantam A faced off against the South Muskoka Bears in the opening game of the MPS Playdowns. The Bantams played well but came out on the short end of a 4-2 score Game 2 was against the Parry Sound Shamrocks early Saturday morning. and while the the Storm played a very entertaining game they found themselves on the losing end of a 4-1 score. In other action the Ridgewood Ford highland storm Atom A played Lindsay Muskies on Saturday and battled to a 1 all tie, then on Sunday the Atom A’s played the Mariposa Lightening and won 10-0. Elsewhere the Atom AE Storm beat the Collingwood Blackhawks 5-1on Saturday in Haliburton Jace Mills notched a hattrick while Evan Jones and Jake Rowden added singles.
