Sledders are being strongly advised to avoid the trails tomorrow.
That’s according to the Haliburton County Snowmobile Association, which maintains 370 kilometres of trails in the county.
In an e-mail to the My Haliburton Now newsroom, the H.C.S.A. says the rain and warm periods has affected an already fragile trail base.
The forecast is calling for highs of minus 14 and 17 on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Tomorrow’s high is expected to be seven degrees.
