Public works yards in Ingoldsby and Highland Grove could be renovated

Haliburton County could be renovating its public works yards in Ingoldsby and Highland Grove.

A report on the two facilities was shown to the county’s Roads Committee, which says the total bill will be $18,600.

The amount was included in the 2017 budget.

The report says the bathrooms and kitchens at both yards are outdated and need to be upgraded.

The roads committee is recommending the contract be approved at the next council meeting on January 24^th.

The report is calling for a completion of the renovations in late April.
