World-renowned water resources author and activist, Maude Barlow will be making her way to Minden to help broaden awareness about Haliburton County stewardship initiatives. Barlow says she’s impressed with the level of awareness and commitment to water supply in Haliburton County. However, she says even the Highlands can’t get too comfortable because water systems can drain very quickly. She will be speaking at the Minden Community Centre on July 11.
