Haliburton County wants to build on its tourism successes in 2018.
Tourism Director Amanda Virtanen gave an update on some of the county’s wins to its Tourism Committee this week.
Virtanen says a weekend hockey festival in Haliburton in October put our area on the map.
Virtanen says Hike Haliburton has become the number one hiking festival in the country in terms of attendance.
Virtanen adds this year’s festival will have over 100 free hikes available at various locations all over the county.
