M.P.P. Laurie Scott releases statement on former P.C. Party Leader Patrick Brown resigning

Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Brock M.P.P. Laurie Scott says Patrick Brown did the right thing stepping down.

The Progressive Conservative Leader resigned after being accused of two sexual misconduct allegations on Wednesday night

Scott released a statement on her twitter account calling the news of the allegations a shock.

Scott also says that as someone who fights for victims of sexual exploitations daily, she believes the voices of the women must be heard.

Scott finished her statement by saying that, “there is now a process that has to be followed, which we recognize and respect.”
