The Haliburton and District Lions Club wants to raise money for healthcare.
The club is having its sixth annual Polar Bear Challenge at Head Lake Park on February 17th.
Anyone taking the challenge will have to jump into the lake and then will be pulled out immediately after.
Haliburton Lions Vice-President, Jim Frost says the community has been very supportive of the challenge in previous years.
Frost adds the way the challenge works is by getting people to sponsor your plunge.
