The third annual Katie’s run took place at Sir Sam’s on July 5. Organizer Trudy Pogue says they are predicting this year’s fundraising will match previous years. Close to 150 participants came out to the event to raise money for epilepsy research. Epilepsy Canada Director, Gary Collins, said that it’s the biggest private epilepsy fundraiser across all of Canada.
