Chamber of Commerce and Home Builders Association to bring students and businesses together in April

Students in the county will have a chance to learn more about the career opportunities available.

Haliburton Highlands Secondary School will host its first ever Career’s Day on April 25^th.

The event is being put on by the Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce and the Haliburton County Home Builders Association.

Chamber Manager Autumn Wilson says the one-day event is a great opportunity to bring students and entrepreneurs together.

Wilson adds students will have a chance to speak with business owners one-on-one.

Career’s Day will be at H.H.S.S. on April 25^th.

Any business wanting to register to be a part of the event must do so by February 28 and can do so by calling the chamber at 705-457-47010 or the Home Builders Association at 705-457-6901.
