Many trails are available for your sledding pleasure in Haliburton County.
That’s according to the online map, which is managed by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.
The map lists most trails as available or limited availability.
Limited availability means a trail is one, but there is some risk to you and your snowmobile if you use it.
Most trails had been listed as unavailable but the snow and cold temperatures of the past week changed that.
The Haliburton County Snowmobile Association manages approximately 370 kilometres of trails.
The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. wants to remind riders that no ice is safe ice, and that sledding impaired carries the same penalties as drunk driving.
