Photo by Kenny Trenton /93.5 Moose FM /Vista Radio Highlands East will give residents six opportunities to get rid of household hazardous waste this year. The municipality announced six dates to dispose of any hazardous waste, such as old paint cans and incandescent light bulbs for example. Highlands East is partnering with the Township of Faraday to host the collection days. The first one will be at the Faraday Public Works Garage on Highway 28 on May 12th. There will be one household hazardous waste day each month from May to October. Here are the dates and locations of the days: May 12th, Faraday Township Public Works Garage June 23rd, Tory Hills Landfill Site July 7th, Faraday Township Public Works Garage August 11th, Gooderham Transfer Station September 15th, Faraday Township Public Works Garage October 27th, Tory Hills Landfill Site
