Educators in Haliburton County are taking a moment to recognize the victims of a shooting in the US.
The six schools across the county have lowered their flags to half-mast following the Florida High School shooting that left 17 people dead.
Fourteen others were injured in the Wednesday afternoon attack. US authorities arrested a 19-year-old man following the shooting.
All schools in the Trillium Lakeland School Board’s jurisdiction have lowered flags.
