Landfills are the only non-emergency municipal service open today.
The Haliburton County offices, along with the four municipalities and townships in the region, are all closed for Family Day.
This includes the Haliburton County Public Library as well.
If you do need to get rid of some garbage, landfills and transfer stations are open on holiday Monday hours.
