Environment Canada says Haliburton should be prepared for the possibility of flooding today.
The weather service is warning up to 40mm of rain could fall by Wednesday morning. As the ground is still frozen, officials say the majority of water won’t be absorbed, which could lead to flooding in low-lying areas.
