Dysart et al’s Mayor likes the idea of more activity in Head Lake Park.
Murray Fearrey was referring to a proposal from Algonquin Outfitters to add bicycle and paddle boat rentals to the park.
According to a presentation to council earlier this week, rentals of bikes and paddle boats, like canoes and kayaks, would be available for rent on weekends, holidays and special events.
Fearrey says it’s an interesting concept.
Fearrey adds the municipality could make money from this.
Rentals would be available from June to September according to Algonquin Outfitters.
