Minden Hills is a step closer to finalizing its 2018 budget.
Council had a chance to review it for the third time last week and the tax increase is set at 8.61 per cent.
That means an increase of $42.34 per $250,000 of assessed value for a home in Minden.
According to C.A.O. and Treasurer Laurie Blanchard, the budget will be finalized on March 8th.
According to a budget report, approximately 82 per cent of the increase is attributed to increases in the environmental and roads budgets.
