The Point in Time Centre for Children, Youth and Parents says we need a youth hub.
That’s according to the information the organization received through a series of public consultations over the last four months in the county on youth mental health and suicide prevention.
Point in Time Executive Director Marg Cox says one common theme youth have mentioned is they feel isolated here.
Cox adds Point in Time applied for a $1 million grant for a youth hub with other service organizations in the county but hasn’t learned yet in the request was granted.
She isn’t sure what will happen if the request is denied.
