The O.P.P. is investigating a case of human remains found in Highlands East as a double homicide.
The remains were found on January 21 near Glamor Lake Road and were of 34-year old Ghislain (Justin) Robichaud and 35-year-old Diedra Ann Smith, both from St. Catharines.
The Haliburton Highlands Crimes Unit did a search of residence in the St. Catharines area and seized a vehicle for further examination.
The O.P.P. says the investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it becomes available.
