The recent snowfall and cooler temperatures doesn’t mean snowmobile trails are safe.
According to the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs, all trails in the county and surrounding areas are unavailable.
According to the map, the closest area where trails have some availability is in and around North Bay.
The O.P.P. is also reminding sledders to avoid any bodies of water and that snowmobiling while impaired carries the same penalties as drunk driving.
