The Haliburton Highlands Outdoors Association is having its annual Wild Game Dinner on Saturday.

H.H.O.A. Vice-President of Education and Marketing Rusty Rustenburg says this fundraiser is meant to help with operating costs.

Rustenburg adds the hydro costs involved with the fish hatchery are significant.

Among the types of food people will get to try are; arctic char, venison and bear meat.

Anyone wanting tickets for Saturday’s feast at the Haliburton Legion can call the H.H.O.A. at 705-457-9664 or visit the hatchery on Gelert Road.

The doors open at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
