Of the 631 people caught for distracted driving last week, five are in Haliburton County.
That’s according to the Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. who was out in full force during March break.
Fines for distracted driving in Ontario range from $490 to $1,000.
Drivers who are charged can also lose three demerit points.
