Haliburton Highlands OPP have located the three year old boy in Highlands East today.
The boy wandered off around 5:00 p.m. from a residence at Tamarack Lake south of Gooderham.
He was found safe and sound within one kilometre of the location.
OPP is thanking the public for their assistance.
