A big winter storm is expected to roll through Haliburton tomorrow.
Environment Canada is warning we could see a mix of snow and freezing rain in the area as the storm makes its way up from Colorado. Meteorologist Mark Schuster says there will likely be a mix of freezing rain and snow in the forecast for the county.
Schuster says up to three millimetres of freezing rain could fall before it switches to snow. The storm is expected to taper off by Wednesday afternoon.
Schuster says drivers should consider thinking twice before hitting the road during this storm.
He says visibility is likely to be significantly cut down on Wednesday as the wind picks up and causes blowing snow across most roads.
