Approximately 1,500 customers in the county are still waiting for the lights to come back on. According to Hydro One, around 500 properties around Ingoldsby and Horseshoe Lake Road are without power. Around 280 homes and businesses just west of Carnvarvon are also without electricity.
According to the Hydro One Storm Map, there are pockets around Drag Lake, Loon Lake and Buckhorn Road still waiting for the power to come back. According to the utility company, yesterday’s snow and wind storm are to blame for the service disruption. Power is expected to be fully restored to all customers in the county by 11:30 P.M. tonight. Over 12,000 customers were in the dark yesterday.
