Some of the changes to the new EMS base didn’t give as much savings as county councilors were hoping. At the special meeting of council on July 16, councilors debated different aspects of the new EMS base to try to reduce costs. A report from the construction company came back to council, that the vote against a full exterior stone wall only reduces the price by 45 hundred dollars.
