The Highlands East Business and Economics Committee is launching a campaign to help boost the local economy. Spending 20 dollars at a participating merchant will give you one ‘Wilberforce Buck’ which you can spend at another participant. Reeve Dave Burton says the campaign will cause people to come together to support each other. The campaign kicks off this weekend and will go until October 13.
