The County Swimming Pool Initiative is looking for some leadership from council members and Harvey Bates says they’re not getting it. Bates is a member of the initiative that has been advocating for a county recreation centre. “We’re missing forward thinking people,” says Bates. He said they will be moving forward slowly for now and hopes to get things off the ground after the election.
