Algonquin Highlands wants to make Stanhope Library more accessible

The library in Stanhope could become a more accessible building this summer. Council was presented with three options to make the library more accessible and decided to add a lift for the interior.

Mayor Carol Moffatt says this about making it easy for anyone to get around in the library.

The cost of $3,500 for the architectural design is included in the budget and full installation costs should become clearer once the report is complete. You can see the full report here.
