Haliburton Liberal candidate says Wynne made selfless choice in conceding

Kathleen Wynne’s recent concession in the provincial election isn’t weighing down a local candidate.

Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock Liberal Candidate Brooklynne Cramp-Waldinsperger says she was getting pushback during her campaigning from locals about Wynne’s involvement in the party. She says see’s Wynne’s concession as an opportunity from the former premier for her party to gain back some trust from constituents.

Cramp-Waldinsperger is originally from the Kawartha Lakes area and currently lives in Lindsay. The provincial election runs on Thursday.

The MyHaliburtonNow newsroom has reached out to the other candidates in the Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock riding, but has not had a response.
