Minden Hills Reeve Barb Reid is hoping the township will see an affordable housing project built in the near future. The Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton Housing Corporation was successful in getting a grant from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to conduct a feasibility study. The study will look into sites that were proposed in the Village Master Plan.
