June is here and turtles are on the move. The County of Haliburton is reminding motorists that June is the peak month that turtles are very active and can be seen quite readily along our roadside.  All species of turtles in Ontario are now at risk and require protection.  The county is asking motorists to exercise care, and try to safely avoid contact with turtles.
