The Haliburton Highlands OPP is looking for public assistance after two businesses in Highlands East and Haliburton reported break-ins. The police are asking for public assistance in solving these crimes.
A Haliburton-based thrift store was broken into during the overnight hours of July 3rd, where an unknown number of suspects took cash and jewellery. The amount is unknown at this time. The inside of the thrift store was also damaged during the break-in.
OPP believe that the break-in that happened in Highlands East took place sometime between June 30th and July 3rd. In this instance, an unknown amount of cash was taken.
