A recently released national study suggested that 43% of Canadians would quit their job for higher pay.
Haliburton was a different story, however. Moose FM spoke to 10 residents from across the county and found that the majority were happy with their job.
Of the 10 surveyed, seven felt that the perks of their jobs outweighed the negatives. Saying that while “extra money would be nice”, enjoying what they do was more important than the money they have. The other three surveyed felt that they would quit for higher pay based on the cost of living.
