One of the vets at the Minden Animal Hospital has begun the process of building a new veterinarian clinic.
Dr. Jen Morrow has purchased a lot on Booth Street in Minden, which will be the home of a state of the art 4,000 square foot facility. The new clinic is expected to be finished by May of 2019 and will feature several exam rooms, dedicated spaces for pharmacy, administration, dentistry, X-rays, and surgery.
Although the Minden Animal Hospital has existed for several years Dr.Morrow has been the owner for three years. According to Paul Macinnes, who presented the idea for the lot in front of Minden Hills council ‘when finished the new clinic will be significantly higher efficiency and will have a much smaller carbon footprint compared to the animal hospital.’
The Minden Animal Hospital currently has two full-time vets and several other full-time staff.
