The Haliburton Highlands OPP had a busy week.

Since last Tuesday, officers responded to 148 calls. The OPP says the calls included seven alarms, nine animal complaints, and four break-and-enter calls. Diana Dauphinee of the Highlands OPP says that officers also responded to 23 non-emergency calls, and an additional 15 calls for police assistance.

On top of that, officers were called for three domestic disputes, leading to two criminal charges. The OPP wants to remind citizens that if you have information on any suspected unlawful activity you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
