Residents and cottagers alike are being invited to a festival to commemorate the 20th birthday of the Cardiff Dragonfly.

The Dragonfly was built in 1996 by Andy Helio says Councillor Cam McKenzie.  On August 11th at 9:00 am, people are invited to come to the celebrations out front of the Country Store in Cardiff where there will be a pancake breakfast, Classic Car Show, and a community yard sale. All of the funds raised will go to minor repairs, and “sprucing up” of the dragonfly says McKenzie.

Also part of the celebrations will be a cake cutting, where the artist Andy Helio behind the dragonfly is expected to attend.
