The potential installation of a billboard on Gelert Road is raising concern for some citizens.
A Haliburton County resident submitted a letter to the Roads Department, raising concerns over a billboard potentially going up at the marsh along Gelert Road. In the letter to the Roads Department, the concerned person says that “there has been a recent proliferation of signs on this roadway” and goes on to say that it is reaching the point of no return, referring to the aesthetic of the road.
When the Haliburton County Roads Committee meets tomorrow at 9:00am this will be the first item on the agenda. The meeting takes place at the county council chambers in Minden Hills.
