Well the communications tower in Minden Hills isn’t happening just yet. Council deferred the decision again at yesterday’s meeting. Summit Telecom Services reduced the height of the tower and the design so it would look like a tree. Council is still worried about people in the area, now they’re wondering if the tower would need a beacon. They agreed postponing the decision until staff can find out what the tower needs and how many people they would need to notify in the area.
