The Haliburton Lake Cottagers Association announced last week that they will be hosting a meeting with several candidates.
The HLCA is co-sponsoring an all-candidates meeting with the Fort Irwin Residents Association. Of the candidates invited, Murray Fearrey, Andrea Roberts, Patrick Kennedy, Dennis Casey, Walt McKechnie, and Glenn Scott have all said that they will be there.
The meeting is scheduled to last two hours with an explanation of who can vote and the voting process. After the explanations, candidates are expected to be given three to five minutes to tell their story, and finally, the floor will be open for people in attendance to ask questions of the candidates. Anyone that wishes to email their questions in can send them to [email protected]
FIRA and HLCA are asking that anyone attending bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the 4 C’s Food Bank.
