The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit has released their weekly water test results.

Haliburton County’s beaches are all safe for swimming with the exception of the Rotary Lagoon Beach in Minden. The Minden Beach test results came back with high levels of bacteria for a second week in a row. The bacteria in the water can be harmful to humans and pets if absorbed through the skin or ingested.

The other beaches across the health unit’s region are all deemed safe for swimming and the waters will be tested again next week.
