Minden Hills is taking big steps to prepare for next year’s PanAm Games. Council recently approved putting forward six thousand dollars for programs, marketing and advertising. Another six thousand is coming from a grant application.
Previous Interim Director of Community Services, Darren Levstek told council the organizers are happy with Minden’s plans for the torch relay. They’re the only participants who will be highlighting their natural heritage.
