A storm system coming across from the US could hit Haliburton hard tonight.
Environment Canada has put the district under a severe thunderstorm watch. The weather service warns the storms rolling through have the potential to bring strong winds, hail and lots of lightning. Muskoka could also get up to 30mm of rainfall overnight.
The storm system is expected to move out by Wednesday morning.
