Fleming College features sustainable energy projects

The province-wide Green Energy Doors Open event highlights sustainable energy projects in Ontario, and this year Fleming College will be a part of it. On October 4, the Frost Campus in Lindsay will provide public tours of its Technology Wing to show off their sustainable energy features. The wing includes a Geothermal heating system, windmill, green roof, and sustainable building materials.

Businesses from the green energy and sustainable building sector are also invited to set up a booth for the day, free of charge. You can contact Kayla Smith, Fleming College Facilities and Energy Management Specialist at for more information.

Tours of the Technology Wing will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Details about the event can be found on the Fleming College website.
