32 year Keith Hirstwood of Minden Hills has been charged with two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age among others. Constable Paul Potter says Haliburton Highlands OPP received a call in early September which lead to the start of an investigation. As a result, the Criminal Investigations Unit made the arrest.
No other information is available at this time. He’ll appear in Minden Court in October.
Hirstwood is facing the following charges:
- Two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Two counts of sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age
- Two counts of invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
- Two counts of luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication
