The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is bringing three clinics back to the Haliburton Highlands.
The HKPR offers a variety of different clinics for the people in their district and November has an immunization and two sexual health clinics happening.
A free immunization clinic for families with no family doctor is happening on November 14th. This clinic is going on in the health unit’s office in Haliburton Village. To book an appointment you can call the HKPR at 1-866-888-4577, ext. 1507.
Also happening on November 14th is a sexual health clinic. This clinic is designed to provide people with cervical screening, low-cost birth control, pregnancy testing, as well as sexual health teaching and STI screening. The clinic is happening from 10:30am to 12:30pm also at the health unit office.
Later in November, there is another sexual health clinic. This one is happening on November 28th. The hours for that clinic are also 10:30am to 12:30pm.
