Taking a trip from Highlands East to Bancroft and back is now possible for less than $20.
Bancroft Community Transit announced that starting on Friday, they will be offering weekly round trips from Wilberforce to Bancroft. BCT says that run to Bancroft and back goes on the first and third Friday of the month. The round trip will cost you $16 and includes options to stop locally if need be.
The other new service that BCT offers is local trips to things like the grocery store, legal appointments, pharmacy and more. This ride costs the user $5, but it offers unlimited stops if you need to run a day full of errands. This trip goes on the second and fourth Friday’s of the month.

BCT says that they will be doing a Christmas Shopping Trip to Peterborough as well.
