The Haliburton County Health Services Integration Transition Plan is in its last phase. Today is the official launch of the Community Support Services Division of Haliburton Highlands Health Services. Maureen Ruttig who was the former Executive Director of Community Care is now the new Director of the division. The Integration transition plan meant all of Community Care services, hospice services by SIRCH, Adult Day programs and foot care coordination from Victorian Order of the Nurses all came under one umbrella. The Division’s goal is to help improve client access to high quality health services.
