Everyone is encouraged to dig through their closet for their runners and Ugly Christmas sweaters.
Now that Halloween is over, Dysart et al is encouraging everyone to get ready for this year’s annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Run. The run this year is happening on November 25th, starting at 10:00am. The run starts at the Haliburton Highlands Museum at 66 Museum Drive in Haliburton
If you want to do the run it is a 1.5-kilometre distance that you can run or walk from end to end. After the run, there is a celebration of “yesteryear” because the theme for this year’s run is nostalgic Christmas. Another thing going on that day is Dysart staff will be collecting donations for the Elf Drive.
The Elf Drive gives food and presents to families in need over the holidays.
