A crash in Bobcaygeon has led to multiple charges for two people.
Kawartha Lakes O.P.P. and City of Kawartha Lakes Police, along with emergency personnel responded to a pedestrian struck call on Sunday. According to the O.P.P., they got the call around 3:50am about a person that was hit by a car on Head Street in Bobcaygeon.
The investigation is on-going, but the O.P.P. says that the preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was driven towards pedestrians. One person was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police Officials say both parties involved knew each other.
Police have charged a 23-year-old from Lindsay with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and assault with a weapon and failure to stop at the scene of an accident. a 21-year-old also from Lindsay was also charged with assault with a weapon.
Both people charged are being held for a bail hearing.
