In the upcoming election, residents are asking candidates how more jobs can come to the community, and Andrea Roberts who’s running for Deupty-Reeve in Dysart says the cultural plan will help. She says it is an economic development tool because it will bring people in. Roberts says creating a vibrant culture will create a place where people want to live, work and play. She says council needs to set the stage for people who want to work here and provide them things like high speed internet. Roberts says the cultural plan is what will draw people in and help create jobs.
